I absolutely adore photographing weddings at South Farm. It is an incredibly stunning wedding venue that provides the ideal setting for unforgettable wedding photography. With its breathtaking countryside surroundings, enchanting Tudor farmhouse, picturesque gardens, South Farm is a dream location for us photographers, it even has pigs! As a documentary wedding photographer, it serves as the perfect backdrop to capture a wedding, and I thoroughly enjoy discovering creative ways to incorporate its stunning features into the couple’s unique wedding story. One aspect that I particularly appreciate is how the venue seamlessly flows, ensuring that you never feel stuck in the same spot for too long. It truly offers a diverse range of settings for capturing your narrative-driven wedding photos.

I was lucky enough to get to witness the team bring home wedding venue of the year at this year’s wedding industry awards. Having worked at the venue a number of occasions I can easily see why they won, the team there are outstanding! One of the best things about South Farm is the way it seamlessly blends rustic charm with modern conveniences. The venue’s excellent food and comfortable accommodation options mean that couples and their guests can relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings, safe in the knowledge that everything is taken care of.
Apparently South farm is Instagram is most Instagramable wedding venues, and it’s easy to see why. From a photographic point of view it has so many places to explore and capture a wedding day. Their blue door is iconic I bet you would have come across at least one amazing confetti shot taken in front of it while wedding planning! South Farm really is a stunning wedding venue that offers everything a photographer could wish for. With its beautiful surroundings, charming Tudor farmhouse, and unique photography locations, it is the perfect place to capture beautiful, timeless images of one of the most important days of a couple’s life.

As a documentary wedding photographer, my couples often express their dislike for being photographed and prioritize spending more time having fun with their guests rather than posing for photos. Keeping that in mind, I genuinely believe that South Farm serves as an excellent venue for storytelling. Its various spaces enable guests to explore and enjoy themselves, while offering numerous picturesque locations for couple portraits that are conveniently close to one another. This means we’ll only need to step away briefly to capture a sufficient number of beautiful portraits before I can swiftly return you to the festivities at the bar!
