It was a real honour to capture Alex and Pete’s beautiful wedding at Ware Priory. Their day was elegant and intimate and not because of covid restrictions, but because they wanted to spend quality time really connecting with their close friends and family. I loved how they incorporated Alex’s heritage into the day. I learned about ‘Yam Seng’, a Chinese tradition, where guests are encouraged to toast the couple by shouting as loud and as long as you can ‘YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM SENG’. It was a real joy to capture. I also got to photograph not one amazing wedding dresses, but two, when Alex changed into a stunning Cheongsam for the evening. It really was a truly wonderful wedding.
